About Birth & Beyond Family Resource Centers

What Do Family Resource Centers Do?

The Birth & Beyond Collaborative consists of Family Resource Centers located in nine neighborhoods across Sacramento County. Family Resource Centers are welcoming places offering a range of services, activities, and opportunities that respond comprehensively to the needs and hopes of local residents and families.

The Family Resource Ceneters are operated by six nonprofit partner organizations: Folsom Cordova Community Partnership; La Familia Counseling Center; Mutual Assistance Network; River Oak Center for Children; Sacramento Children’s Home; and WellSpace Health. They work closely together to align and integrate their efforts to ensure that families are able to get what they need to achieve their goals.

Family Resource Centers collaborate broadly across systems, provide effective supports based on a deep understanding of the community served.
